Clarify first
May be safety- or class-relevant: before the quote we clarify which requirements, documents and approvals apply. Depending on the ship and the use, this can include:
- Drawing approval
- Material certificates (EN 10204 3.1 / 3.2)
- Welding procedure qualification (WPS / WPQR)
- Welder qualification
- Non-destructive testing (NDT)
- Load test or strength calculation
- Acceptance by the classification society
First assessment – the quotation is binding. The period for the quote starts once the requirements are clarified.
Please name the classification society and the place of installation below, and attach the original drawing if you have it.
