Configure part

Pick the part. Fill in the dimensions. Get a quote.

For the parts we are asked for most often, the fields are already prepared: dimensions, material, finish, documents. A photo or old drawing helps but is not required. Anything that does not fit the list goes through the free request with drawing upload.

Workshop job Normal workshop manufacture — quote straight from your details.
Clarify first May be safety- or class-relevant: before the quote we clarify which requirements, documents and approvals apply. Marked with ◆ in the lists below.
First assessment – the quotation is binding. For ◆ items the five working days for a quote start once the requirements are clarified.

Bearings, rollers, shafts and gears

Wear parts at bearing points, on shafts and in drives.

Deck, hatch covers, doors and cargo

Parts that wear or rust through on deck, in the hold and in the superstructure.

Pipework and engine room

Pipe spools that corrode from the inside, flanges and rings.

Steelwork and access

Prefabricated in the workshop, welded in on board.

Repair and remanufacture

From the sample or a site survey to a documented, fitted part.

Two kinds of job

Not every part should simply be copied.

Brackets, consoles, guards, covers, simple ladders, boxes and pipe supports are normal workshop jobs — we quote them straight from your details.

Parts that carry load or keep water, weather or fire out — bollards and heavily loaded mooring parts, lifting gear, certain hatches and watertight closures, pressure piping, structural welds — may be class-relevant. For these we clarify the requirements before the quote. Depending on the ship and the use this can include:

  • Drawing approval
  • Material certificates (EN 10204 3.1 / 3.2)
  • Welding procedure qualification (WPS / WPQR)
  • Welder qualification
  • Non-destructive testing (NDT)
  • Load test or strength calculation
  • Acceptance by the classification society

More than the part: the whole job

  1. Drawing, sample or survey on board
  2. Design and drawing
  3. Material with certificate
  4. Fabrication and welding
  5. Machining — bores, fits, threads
  6. Preservation and coating
  7. Documentation
  8. Fitting on board, on request

Welding and machining from one source is where it pays off most: bearing blocks, hinges, roller mountings, joints and consoles with the bore machined after welding.
