Wear parts — made again, properly
Single pieces and small series for ships, ports and industry. If your part is not on this page, send it anyway — if it can be turned, milled, ground, heat-treated or welded, a workshop in our network makes it.

Bushings and plain bearings
Worn bearing bushes of rudders, hatch-cover hinges, winches, pumps, conveyors and joints — in tin bronze, nickel-aluminium bronze for sea water or maintenance-free polymer composites. Made to the mating shaft, with the press fit and running clearance the job needs.

Rollers, wheels and sheaves
Hatch-cover rollers and wheels, guide and support rollers, rope sheaves, conveyor and fairlead rollers — turned, hardened where they run, with new bushings or bearings fitted on request.

Shaft sleeves, wear rings and liners
Shaft protection sleeves under seals, wear and split rings of pumps, liners and spacer sleeves. The cheap way to save an expensive shaft: the sleeve wears, the shaft does not.

Shafts, journals, axles and pins
Pump and winch shafts, intermediate pieces, journals, axles, hinge and joint pins — turned, milled and ground to the drawing, bearing surfaces hardened, run-out and fits measured before shipping. Load-bearing parts on request, with documents agreed in advance.

Wear plates, slide pads and guides
Wear and slide plates, guide strips, sliding pads of hatch covers and ramps, chutes and liners — in wear-resistant steel, bronze or polymer, drilled and countersunk to fit the existing holes.

Flanges, rings, covers and turned parts
Special flanges, adapter and spacer rings, covers, sealing faces, nuts and turned parts — also in copper-nickel and stainless steel for sea-water systems. The same workshops make parts for ports, plant engineering and offshore.

Prefabricated steelwork: ladders, stairs, railings
Corroded vertical ladders, companionways, railings, platforms and walkways — built in the workshop to the drawing or a site survey, coated or galvanised, and delivered ready to weld in. Fitting time on board is shorter.

Brackets, guards and welded assemblies
Pipe and cable supports, consoles, guards, covers, small foundations and welded frames. Welded by qualified welders under a documented welding procedure; weld documentation on request.
The right steel or bronze for load, sea water and wear
The material comes from your drawing. Where the drawing is silent or the original material is unknown, we propose one from the function — and say so in the quote. Metal stock is bought with a 3.1 certificate as standard.
| Material | No. | Typical use | Note |
|---|---|---|---|
| CuSn12-C (tin bronze) | CC483K | Plain bearing bushes | Classic bearing bronze for slow, highly loaded joints |
| CuAl10Ni5Fe4-C (NAB) | CC333G | Bushes, sleeves and wear parts in sea water | Nickel-aluminium bronze, high strength and corrosion resistance |
| CuSn8 (wrought bronze) | CW453K | Thin-walled bushes, slide plates | Good sliding properties, available as strip and tube |
| POM / PA / UHMW-PE | — | Maintenance-free bushes, guides, slide strips, rollers | Where grease is unwanted or access is poor |
| X2CrNiMoN22-5-3 (Duplex) | 1.4462 | Shaft sleeves, shafts and pins in sea water | About twice the yield strength of 316L, resistant to pitting |
| X2CrNiMo17-12-2 (316L) | 1.4404 | Sea-water parts, railings, brackets on deck | Austenitic stainless steel, good weldability |
| C45 | 1.0503 | Shafts, journals, rollers | Normalised or quenched and tempered; induction-hardenable |
| 42CrMo4+QT | 1.7225 | Shafts, pins and rollers with high load and wear | Quenched and tempered; running surfaces induction-hardened or hard-chromed |
| 34CrNiMo6+QT | 1.6582 | Shafts with the highest loads | Tough at low temperatures, large cross-sections |
| Hardox 450 / 1.8714 | — | Wear plates, chutes, liners | Wear-resistant steel, about 450 HBW |
| S355J2+N | 1.0577 | Ladders, stairs, brackets, welded frames | Weldable structural steel; coated or hot-dip galvanised |
| EN AW-5083 (AlMg4.5Mn0.7) | 5083 | Light ladders, walkways, covers | Sea-water resistant aluminium alloy, weldable |
Typical choices, not a limit. Other steels, stainless grades, bronzes and polymers on request.
Not sure what the original was made of?
That happens often with old parts. Send the sample: the workshop can analyse the material and measure the hardness before we propose a replacement.
